During the summer of 2013, the Clark Fork Coalition held a Kids' Day at McCormick Park. Students from local elementary schools attended, learning about river health and conservation issues in our region. Led by Gary Fee and Jo Burris and manned by WSCTU volunteers, the chapter's interactive "Hooks & Ladders: Lifecycle of a Bul Trout" lesson was a big hit. Students learned how bull trout negotiate many hazards as they make the journey to spawn.
