The Montana Department of Environmental Quality released a draft EIS assessment of the proposed copper mine in the Headwaters of the Smith River.  In short the analysis states there will be no negative environmental impacts on nearby Sheep Creek or the main body of the Smith River.  

Three options are available for the public:

• Submit comments
• Attend public meetings scheduled for April 29 in Livingston and April 30 in White Sulphur Springs
• Attend the two online public meetings (webinar).
