WSCTU contributed funds to assist with the purchase on a 147-acre-in-holding. the land has been purchased by FVLT with the intention of transferring it to FWP for inclusion in the Fish Creek Wildlife Management Area. This purchase imporved habitat connectivity and protects important floodplain habitat for sensitive species such as westslope cutthroat trout and bull trout. This property is connected to 1/2 mile of mainstem Fish Creek and will help protect this wetland and riparian area.
