We were excited to sponsor Ladies Night before our regular program, FOR WOMEN ONLY! We had 69 lady anglers come out for the program. More women are getting involved in the sport of fly fishing than ever before, and this event was the first many that we hope create a fun space for local women to get active in our community as anglers and conservationists, and to have as much fun as possible and meet new friends while doing it. Heather Hodson's presentation, 30 Days on the Road Fly Fishing the West was also terrific! In April 2016, Heather Hodson, TU Womens Ambassador, traveled 5,488.8 miles fishing her way through seven western states. We heard about her adventure, anglers she met, the water she fished, as well as fishing techniques, tactics and flies, and travel information to different destinations. 15 pieces of water, 6 different species of fish....and a whole lot of fun.
